Dear Members of the Brahmin Community, It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the official website of Brahman Sabha, Amravati. Brahman Sabha is a registered charitable institution that has been serving our community for over five decades. Guided by the timeless ideal of Brahmanya — "सर्व धर्मज्ञः शांतो दांतो गतक्लमः" (one who knows all duties, is calm, self-restrained, and tireless in action) — the Sabha has consistently worked for the social, educational, and cultural upliftment of our community. Over the years, the Sabha has undertaken numerous initiatives — the Student Assistance Fund to ensure that no deserving student's education is interrupted due to financial hardship; the Arogya Vardhini Yojana to extend a helping hand to families facing serious illness or major surgery; the annual Samoohik Vratabandha ceremony to make this important samskara accessible and affordable; the Gyanadeep Lecture Series; matrimonial services through the Rinambandh App; and a range of cultural and community programs. Each of these is a step toward a stronger, more connected community. This website is an effort to bring all these activities closer to you — to inform, to engage, and to invite your participation. I urge you to explore every section, learn about our history and our committees, and share this website with fellow community members. The Sabha's journey would not have been possible without the dedication of our founders, past executives, donors, volunteers, and well-wishers. To all of them, we remain deeply grateful. I invite every member of our community to come forward — to participate, to contribute, and to be part of this shared mission. Together, we can carry forward the legacy of Brahman Sabha and build a future rooted in knowledge, service, and unity. With warm regards, Prof. Mohan Laxman Kate President, Brahman Sabha, Amravati

Panch Parivartan (Five Transformations)

We accept the concept of 'Panch Parivartan' (Five Transformations) to bring about positive change in society, and we resolve to follow it. These five major dimensions are as follows:

  • Self-Awareness (Swadeshi) Adopting Indian culture in our language, attire, food, bhajans (devotional songs), housing, and travel, and using indigenous (Swadeshi) products.
  • Family Enlightenment Spending time with family, preserving family values, and instilling good samskaras (values/culture) in children.
  • Social Harmony Eradicating distinctions based on caste, class, or language, and increasing mutual love, equality, and goodwill in society.
  • Environmental Protection Protecting nature by planting trees, saving water, and reducing the use of plastic.
  • Citizen's Duty Following the laws of the country, respecting traffic rules, and fulfilling one's responsibilities towards the nation.
